The multimodular program will enable you to:

Curriculum

The Global C-Suite Program will enable forward-thinking executives like you to learn from a cutting-edge curriculum that reflects current industry trends. You will learn to formulate and execute global strategies, develop new approaches to manage global teams, and lead growth-focused initiatives. The program is divided into two components — 18 weeks of core modules followed by three online electives of six weeks each. It concludes with a two-day networking and graduation event on the Wharton campus in Philadelphia.

    Meet your cohort peers and faculty in person on the Wharton campus in Philadelphia during a two-day networking and graduation event. This event takes place once every four cohorts, providing an opportunity to network with your peers as well as professionals from other cohorts to create a lifelong community of global executives.

Executive reflection

You will have the opportunity to apply program insights to your organization’s challenges and develop potential solutions. There are three reflections in the program, placed at the end of each phase of the core module journey — and they are essential for program completion. The reflection journals are designed to help you take all that you have learned in the program curriculum, interaction with your success coach, and discussions with peers to strategize for your organization’s unique global challenges.

Melissa Graham

Success Coach

Melissa has spent the past 20+ years working in a spectrum of industries from not-for-profits to large C-corporations, tribal and local governments, higher education, manufacturing, and more. She has served as a CFO, CEO, and COO in different business sectors, including higher education, and is excited to share her experiences and knowledge with you. Melissa holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree (in Strategic Leadership), a Master of Finance degree, and is currently completing her Doctorate in Business Administration.

Who is it for?

Are you an experienced executive preparing to step into a global leadership role from a regional one? Or have you recently become a CXO and want to build momentum while making an impact with your broader responsibilities? If these are the opportunities you foresee in your current or future responsibilities, then the Global C-Suite Program is the right fit for you. The program is also suitable for general managers who execute business transitions during alliances and collaborate with global and regional stakeholders. Executives and current CXOs in small- to mid-sized companies will also find this program to be ideal for accelerating their career goals.

Program eligibility criteria include:

  • A minimum of 12 to 15 years of work experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • International exposure (preferred)

Pathway to Wharton alumni status

For more than 135 years, Wharton has been the place where visionaries, inventors, and trailblazers get their start. Subject to further qualification criteria and additional tuition, the completion of the Global C-Suite Program and subsequent open-enrollment programs puts you on a pathway to apply for Wharton alumni status. Executives who successfully complete the Global C-Suite Program have the option of applying to the General Management Program (GMP), which offers further opportunities to enhance your leadership skills and business acumen with a flexible curriculum. The Global C-Suite Program provides one credit towards the six required to complete the GMP and earn alumni status. More details on the GMP are available at Wharton Executive Education.

Upon qualifying for Wharton alumni status, you will be eligible to receive:

  • Full access to become a member of 77+ Wharton alumni clubs
  • Invitations to attend future Wharton global alumni forums
  • A Wharton email address
